GLIA has been selected as one of the Industry Clusters under the STRIVE project. After
an assessment and series of meetings with Industry members, GLIA has proposed three
trades for the STRIVE project. These trades are pertaining to CNC Operator/ Programmer,
Machining Technician and Quality Assistant. The state of the art infrastructure for
these three trades are already developed by GLIA at its Centre of Excellence. Here at
the Centre of Excellence, GLIA has developed a Skill Development Centre, and its
reputation has thrived by word of mouth; we could see a better way to provide the skill
training on Industry aligned machines and equipment by Industry Experts.
Center of Excellence has facilities like, conference room, auditorium, counselling room,
Library and exhibition hall to provide the one-stop shop for all the industry related
activities.
